| We spent a lot of time roaming around on the beach looking for sand dollars and seashells. When it was time to leave Port Aransas we drove to South Padre Island and stayed two nights there, visiting Matamoros, Mexico on the day between. | |||||||||||||

| We got a kick out of the "Watch for Pelicans when Flashing" sign at the entrance to the South Padre Island causeway. We saw lots of Pelicans, but none of them flashed us. | |||||||||||||
NB:This is NOT the same Progreso we visited on our cruise.
